Who We Are
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - Global Premier Development, Inc. (GPD), supports and believes in the American dream of homeownership. However, many families throughout the nation and particularly in California find homeownership an extremely difficult goal to achieve. GPD and its Joint Venture Partners (JVP's) are dedicated to providing housing that can assist families in making the American Dream come true. GPD is dedicated to providing housing that can assist families in making this come true. GPD specializes in the development of Low Income Housing, under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. The participation and endorsement by federal, state and local municipalities allows us to provide lower than market rents to qualified tenants. By providing very affordable rents, residents are often able to save their resources for a down payment on a home.

Affordable housing communities serve larger social needs as well, helping to stabilize and reinvigorate neighborhoods in decline, or creating "infill" housing opportunities in redevelopment areas. GPD strives to deliver an attractive product that is often superior to market-rate apartment complexes in the surrounding community.

GPD is owned and operated by Andrew Hanna. Since the late 1990's, Mr. Hanna has been developing housing in Southern California. In 2004 he formed GPD and has developed almost 2,700 units of low income housing to date. Mr. Hanna and GPD's management team have collectively planned and developed a combination of over 3,400 low income and market rate units with development cost exceeding $500,000,000.

We partner with local municipalities and the nonprofit housing community in our effort to promote the acquisition, new construction, and acquisition/rehabilitation of permanent and transitional affordable rental housing for low-income households and seniors. GPD has the reputation of constructing neighborhood apartments that communities are proud of. GPD's apartments demonstrate that affordable housing is for hard working low- and moderate-wage earners such as waiters, childcare providers, bus drivers and clerical workers.

Our communities dispel common misconceptions of affordable housing. GPD's properties provide a safe environment enriched with community activities and educational programs for many deserving families. The below-market rents help families save valuable resources that may be used toward achieving their dream of home ownership.
